This 45-minute operatic experience will immerse you in a story of betrayal, murder, and mystery. Weaving together some of opera’s most chilling moments in a brand new narrative, Whispers: Echoes from the Halls is sure to leave you primed for the Halloween season.

 

Our story, woven together with music from operas like Don Giovanni, Turn of the Screw, Salome, Lucia di Lammermoor, and more, will tell a spooky murder-mystery narrative about a condemned man, who did it, and why. Unique in its presentation and leaning heavily into the spookiness of the venue, Whispers: Echoes from the Halls is sure to excite audiences.

 

Performance Times

The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes. The immersive version inside the mansion occurs at 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm. The Carriage House Experience (ADA-accessible) takes place at 6:00 pm. Choose an experience time of either 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm, or 6:00 pm to purchase your tickets.

Tours will leave precisely at their scheduled times, so please arrive at least ten minutes early to check-in.

Mobility Information

The walking tour in the Mansion requires the use of a half-flight of stairs to enter the house, walking in short lengths from room to room, and climbing up and down the house's main flight of stairs. 

Each immersive tour will include up to 20 patrons.

The 6:00 pm performance offers the same musical experience for audiences without needing to walk around the Mansion. This performance takes place entirely in The Shirley-Eustis House's Carriage House.
