Opera Bites is back! BOC’s wildly popular evening of short operas performed in a cabaret setting returns with 7 brand new commissions!

It’s a delicious program of bite-sized opera — 10-minute pieces performed in English and accompanied by a small instrumental ensemble — along with refreshments and libations.

Featuring eight  10-minute operas written by contemporary American composers, six of which were commissioned and workshopped during Opera Bites: In the Studio.

People Love Opera Bites!

"Delightfully thought-provoking and fun...a delicious program celebrating life’s sweetest and sometimes most sour moments with cleverness and heart."

"Boston Opera Collaborative struck gold again with this refined selection of short and sweet works."

The Theatre Times Review

"Most of the collaborative’s singers are early in their careers, and vibrant singing and dramatic know-how are obviously in no short supply, One can easily imagine bragging in a
few years that we saw some of them way back when."
